Description: This is an archived Live-Stream of myself and others talking to Zane, the developer of the Medievalands client that allows a more modernized version of on Shadow of Yserbius and Fates of Twinion, Graphical Multi User Dungeons from 1991, basically the MMORPGs of that time, predating games like Ultima Online by a sizable margin. Currently Shadow of Yserbius and Fates of Twinion are not available for sale as they truely are abandoned software and long since faded from public consciousness. Offline versions of both games were sold in a box set, which is why Abandonware sites and the Internet Archive contain copies of the Offline version. Users wishing to play the original game on the original client and still play online can use the online service “Innbarn” to access an emulated server that tricks the game into thinking the original servers are still running. Innbarn can be found here: innbarn.com Both the Offline and Innbarn versions contain many bugs and problems inherent in running a game from 1991 on modern systems/modern internet. What we are discussing today is the alternative to those two versions, which is the Medievalands client. a slightly more modernized and accessible way to access Shadow of Yserbius and Fates of Twinion.
